PM Sharif, Field Marshal visit Saudi Arabia on Crown Prince’s invitation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with a delegation, visited Saudi Arabia on the special invitation of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, a statement issued by the PM House said on Friday.
Yesterday, both PM and Field Marshal performed Umrah, offered Nawafil, and thanked Allah Almighty for the victory in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. The door of the Kaaba was specially opened for the Pakistani delegation as well.
Pakistan’s delegation also offered prayers at Masjid-e-Haram to thank Allah Almighty for Pakistan’s recent successes in the economic field. PM Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir also prayed for success in public welfare measures. They offered special prayers for the country’s progress and prosperity as well as for the Muslim Ummah, especially the oppressed Kashmiri and Palestinian Muslim brothers and sisters.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar are also accompanying the prime minister on this visit.
