London: The leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI), has garnered substantial wealth with a net worth totaling $50 million.

This impressive financial standing, equivalent to approximately Rs 1510 crore in Pakistani currency, positions the 70-year-old former prime minister of Pakistan as one of the nation’s most affluent politicians.

These revelations are brought to light in a comprehensive report by FE Lifestyle magazine.

A significant portion of Khan’s wealth is manifested in his substantial real estate holdings. Notably, he possesses a sprawling mansion in Bani Gala, Islamabad, boasting an estimated value of $750 million across a vast expanse of 181,500 square yards. Additionally, his property portfolio includes a residence in Zaman Park, Lahore, estimated at $29 million.

Beyond his real estate ventures, PTI Chief holds considerable assets in the form of farmhouses valued at $0.8 million. Moreover, his financial endeavors span diverse business investments and inherited agricultural lands, contributing to his substantial net worth.

Curiously, despite his considerable affluence,  Khan does not possess any registered vehicles under his name. However, he does own a private helicopter, which he employs for commuting to work.

The cost of these helicopter rides has drawn attention due to their substantial burden on the national budget. It has been disclosed that Imran Khan’s VVIP helicopter travels have incurred a total expense of Rs 1 billion. These expenditures, as detailed in official records presented to the Pakistani Senate, encompass the period from 2019 to 2021 and were executed under the directives of the Prime Minister’s Office.

In terms of transportation, Khan is frequently observed utilizing a Rs 3.5 crore Toyota Land Cruiser and a Rs 12.26 crore Mercedes Maybach S600, as noted by CA Knowledge.
