Minahil Malik’s new video leak: Who’s the mystery companion?

WEB DESK: TikToker Minahil Malik, who has been making headlines since October 2024 over the circulation of a series of leaked private videos, is reportedly facing yet another privacy breach, with a new leaked video surfacing on social media platforms.

In the new video, the social media influencer and brand ambassador for a beauty salon can be seen “engaging” with another fellow creator partially undressed.

Soon after the new video began circulating in WhatsApp groups, netizens flocked to the internet to hunt for the clip, making ‘Minahil Malik’s new video’ a top trend on Google.

Netizens also took to various social media platforms to question the identity of the man in the video. Some were seen speculating whether it was a continuation of the previous series of leaked videos featuring SK and Minahil Malik, or if this time it involved a new person.

In October 2024, when her first video leaked online, TikToker Minahil Malik had announced her departure from social media, calling the obscene clips “fake.” That video, which allegedly showed the TikToker and her companion SK in a room, was widely circulated and followed by a series of similar clips.

However, the TikToker returned to social media after nearly six weeks and addressed the controversy. In an Instagram story, Minahil told her followers: “Everyone makes mistakes, but people only focused on mine. No one looked at the kind of person I am.”

Meanwhile, Minahil Malik’s new video has once again raised serious concerns about digital safety, online harassment, and the repeated exploitation of social media influencers, particularly women—on digital platforms.

While there has been no official statement from Minahil Malik, the repeated violations of her privacy and the apparent lack of enforcement of cybercrime laws demand urgent attention from the authorities concerned.

It is worth noting that the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) criminalises the unauthorised use and distribution of intimate or explicit content and provides a legal recourse.

In a recent case, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a man accused of creating and circulating explicit videos of social media influencer and TikToker Imsha Rehman.

Imsha Rehman said that after the videos went viral, it felt as though her life had come to an end. “I saw the video, and my life is completely ruined. I can’t go to university or face people anymore. I’ve started receiving death threats.”

She further stated: “I could have simply issued a denial on social media, but I chose instead to take legal action against those responsible for the fake content.”

Highlighting the damaging impact of fabricated content, Imsha Rehman added: “People on social media think making and sharing videos of others is entertaining, but they fail to understand how it can devastate someone’s life.”
