WEB DESK: Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A07 4G has been a bit of an open secret for months. First spotted in development back in June, it recently had its design and core specs spill online.
Now, thanks to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, we have a clearer picture, official poster included, revealing almost everything about the phone except when it will actually hit stores.
Bigger screen, better refresh rate The Samsung Galaxy A07 will pack a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 1,600 x 720 resolution. It is not aiming for flagship sharpness, but the higher refresh rate should make scrolling feel smoother than the older A06.
Under the hood sits a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus microSD expansion for those who hoard photos and videos.
Cameras and battery life
The rear camera setup features a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary camera, likely for macro or depth shots. Selfies are handled by an 8MP front camera. A 5,000mAh battery powers the show, with Android 15-based One UI 7 running things.
Samsung promises six years of updates, including six major Android upgrades, which could see the A07 running Android 21 in its lifetime.
Durability and extras
The phone will come with IP54 dust and splash resistance, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the increasingly rare FM radio.
Colours and launch
Renders show the Galaxy A07 in three shades: green, grey, and a bluish white. Samsung has not confirmed a release date or regions yet, but that information is expected soon. The Galaxy A07 launch in Pakistan may take at least two months.
Samsung Galaxy A07 price in Pakistan
While the Galaxy A series once sat comfortably in the cheap to midrange zone, prices have been creeping up. The Galaxy A06 already sells in Pakistan for Rs27,000 (64GB) and Rs32,000 (128GB). If the leaks are any clue, the A07 could land around Rs40,000 for the PTA-approved model, especially with the improved specs and long-term update promise.
If that holds true, Samsung fans in Pakistan may soon be paying a little extra for what still looks like one of the more dependable budget picks around.
