Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry now officially a couple

ISLAMABAD: The long-rumoured relationship between Canada’s former prime minister Justin Trudeau and global pop star Katy Perry has finally been made official, following their public appearance in Paris on Saturday to celebrate the singer’s birthday.

Earlier, Trudeau and Perry were photographed together in September, seen strolling on a yacht off the coast of California — images that quickly went viral across social media platforms.

With speculation now put to rest, the pair were spotted stepping out of Paris’s famed Crazy Horse Theatre, confirming their relationship. The former premier and the pop icon, who caught fans’ attention with their bright smiles, were dressed elegantly — Trudeau in black and Perry in red.

The couple were first seen together in July, walking through the streets of Montreal and sharing lighthearted moments.

According to People magazine, the 41-year-old singer had recently separated from her then-fiancé Orlando Bloom, while the 53-year-old former leader had been divorced for two years. Sources close to the pair said they “have an easy connection,” adding that “she finds him attractive” and “he’s been very respectful.”

Perry is currently in Paris as part of her Lifetimes Tour, promoting her latest album, 143. The tour has included stops across the United States, Canada, and Australia, with a sold-out show in Montreal — where Trudeau was reportedly in attendance.
