WEB DESK: Google is celebrating 45 years of PAC-MAN with a special Halloween-themed Doodle, giving fans a nostalgic yet spooky treat. The interactive game, created in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment, features eight levels, including four haunted-house mazes, each inspired by one of PAC-MAN’s famous ghostly foes: Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde.

Players must guide PAC-MAN through the eerie corridors, gobbling up dots and Power Pellets while avoiding the ever-persistent ghosts. Each maze reflects the personality of the ghost that haunts it, adding a creative twist to the classic gameplay.

The Doodle honours the enduring legacy of the yellow arcade icon, who first debuted in 1980 and went on to define an entire era of gaming. Its fusion of nostalgia and new design makes it a fitting tribute for Halloween, and a fun way to relive one of gaming’s most beloved titles.

The PAC-MAN Doodle is available to play directly from the Google homepage throughout October 31 and November 1, inviting players old and new to celebrate four and a half decades of dot-chomping fun.
