Lahore residents to receive uninterrupted gas supply during Sehri and Iftar times

LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has taken measures to ensure a continuous gas supply during Sehri and Iftar in the upcoming holy month of Ramzan for the residents of Lahore.

As per the SNGPL spokesperson, uninterrupted gas supply will be available from 2:30 am to 8:00 am for Sehri and from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm for Iftar.

It’s important to note that the guaranteed supply is limited to the mentioned times, and it may not be fully ensured at other hours.

However, this effort aims to benefit those who will be fasting during the holy month. In addition to addressing gas pressure concerns, SNGPL has established monitoring teams and control rooms.

Consumers facing issues with gas pressure or supply can register their complaints by calling 1199. Sui Northern Gas encourages consumers to use gas responsibly during Sehri and Iftar.

In contrast, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a gas supply schedule for Ramzan, which includes load-shedding.

According to the SSGC statement, gas will only be available from 3:00 am to 9:00 am (Sehri) and 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Iftar). Additionally, consumers in Sindh and Balochistan will have access to gas for only 13 hours.

As the nation anticipates the onset of Ramzan on March 12, SNGPL focuses on ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted gas supply for consumers during Sehri and Iftar.
