Afghan Taliban rejects Pak envoy’s claims on TTP relocation

KABUL: Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid has denied Pakistan special envoy for Afghanistan’s claims regarding relocation of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to Afghanistan.

In an interview to Afghan media, special envoy Asif Ali Durrani had appreciated de-facto government of Islamic Emirate for this step.

Reacting to Durrani’s statement, Mujahid said refugees from restive Waziristan who entered Afghanistan will be shifted back to Pakistan. He said this measure would help allay Pakistan’s concerns regarding threats emanating from Afghanistan.

Resolving not to let Afghan soil be used against Pakistan, Taliban spokesperson also urged Pakistan to solve its internal issues.
