Election Tribunal seeks Form 45, 47 of Maryam Nawaz, others

LAHORE: The Election Tribunal has sought original Form 45, 46, and 47 of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Abdul Aleem Khan, Hamza Shehbaz and others.
Justice Anwar Hussain separately heard the applications of Salman Akram Raja, Meher Sharafat Ali, Alia Hamza, and Ali Ijaz Butter of Sunni Union Council.
The court asked the Election Commission of Pakistan to present the original Form 45, 46 and 47 and accompanying affidavits of the winning candidates at the next hearing.
Salman Akram Raja has challenged the success of opposing candidate Aun Chaudhry, Meher Sharafat Ali has challenged the success of Maryam Nawaz, Ali Ijaz Butter has challenged the success of Aleem Khan, and Alia Hamza has challenged the success of Hamza Shehbaz.
Meanwhile, the Election Tribunal issued a written order asking the ECP to submit the original Forms 45, 46, and 47 for NA-128.

Justice Anwar Hussain issued a written order on a plea of Salman Akram Raja. The tribunal asked the petitioner to also submit the necessary expenses within seven days.
The written order further stated that, according to the petitioner, the results in NA-128 were altered.
In the petition, the ECP has been accused of forgery in Form 45, and the petitioner alleged that the opposing candidate was declared successful through deceit and fraud.
