Officials overseeing security of Imran Khan at Adiala jail replaced

WEB DESK: Officers and staff responsible for overseeing the security of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder have been unexpectedly replaced.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Adiala Jail, who had been serving in this capacity for eleven months, has been transferred.

Additionally, security personnel from seven other jails have also been reassigned. Tahir Shah, Deputy Superintendent Jail, has now been tasked with overseeing the security arrangements for the PTI founder.

This decision was approved by the Punjab Home Department and jail authorities last week. Previously, DSP Adiala Bilal was also transferred from his additional duties related to PTI.
