Next monsoon rains spell in Karachi after July 20

KARACHI:  The Meteorological Department said the next spell of monsoon rains is anticipated to begin after July 20 in Karachi.

The weather office has forecast partly cloudy, hot, and humid weather for Karachi.

The maximum temperature is likely to be 35°C to 37°C while the humidity ratio in the air is expected to be 80%, said the PMD, adding that the winds are blowing from the west at a light speed.

There is a possibility of drizzle and light rain today.

The hot and humid conditions are expected to persist for the next 24 hours.
