Paris Olympics 2024 award ceremony time announced

PARIS: National athlete Arshad Nadeem is set to be awarded his gold medal today at the Paris Olympics. The medal distribution ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:50 PM Pakistan time.

All athletes who secured victories in the finals, including Arshad Nadeem, will receive their medals during the ceremony.

The event will take place at Champions Park, near the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, marking a significant moment in Arshad Nadeem’s illustrious career and a proud day for Pakistan.

Pakistani javelin-thrower Arshad Nadeem secured the gold medal and his place in history on Thursday, when he beat India’s Neeraj Chopra and become the first Pakistani to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics Games.

Pakistan’s athlete broke a 118-year old Olympic record with a throw of 92.97 metres. Despite a missed first throw, Arshad Nadeem progressively improved. He flung the javelin 88.72m, 79.40m, 84.87m and 91.79m.
