Two more suspected Mpox cases emerge in KP

PESHAWAR: Two more suspected Mpox patients have been shifted to Police Services Hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), according to the provincial health department.

According to the KP health department, during screening at the Bacha Khan Airport, two passengers exhibiting symptoms of Mpox were identified.

The suspected patients have been shifted to Police Services Hospital and are being kept in isolation.

The health department reported that a total of 20,901 individuals have been screened at Peshawar Airport so far.

Additionally, 21,040 people have undergone screening at the Torkham border.

So far, two confirmed cases of Mpox have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the department added.
