US “condemns” terrorist attack in Musakhail


The United States (US) Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller strongly condemned recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan that targeted security personnel and civilians on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON: The United States (US) Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Musakhail that targeted security personnel and civilians.

In a press release in Washington, the spokesperson Miller said that 23 innocent people were killed in the attacks in Musakhail.

“We stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan against terrorism,” Miller stated. He talked about the huge losses Pakistan had to endure due to terrorist activities.

The State Department spokesperson noted that both, the US and Pakistan share a common interest in addressing threats to regional security.

Miller also said that meeting Pakistan’s energy needs remains a priority for the US. He confirmed that discussions with the Pakistani government regarding the energy sector will continue.
