WEB DESK: Is Reddit down? Several users across the globe reported connectivity issues, with the outage leaving many users unable to access the platform.
The community forum social media platform finally acknowledged the outage as well, stating it was activity investigating.

The disruption began around 1:20 am local time, when users trying to visit the homepage encountered a black screen. For some users it displayed the message, “Upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. Reset reason: connection failure”.
On the website Downdetector, reports of the outage began pouring in. It soon accumulated over 47,000 logging issues.
Many shared Reddit being down on other social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter).
The official Reddit status account on X confirmed the outage, but no specific cause was given.
For a while, several users could access the platform before encountering errors again.
Even X’s alternate, Bluesky, reported outages, although the issues for the smaller site was quickly resolved.
