PTI RALLY
The major roads entering the city have been closed with containers to prevent any untoward situation caused by the protest rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
PTI has issued a ‘final call’ for its members and supporters to gather at Islamabad today, November 24, to protest against the 26th constitutional amendment and for the release of their incarcerated members, including former PTI chairman Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, the federal authorities have refused to grant permission for the protest in view of security threats. Section 144 is also active in Islamabad since Monday (November 18) and is likely to stay in place for two months.
