Gold price drops by Rs300 to Rs274,400 per tola in local market

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Saturday, following a decline in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola stood at Rs274,400 after a decrease of Rs300.
The price of 10 grammes of gold was Rs235,254, marking a fall of Rs257, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,400 per tola.
On Friday, gold prices had dropped by Rs1,000 per tola in Pakistan. The international gold rate also saw a decline on Saturday. According to APGJSA, the international price stood at $2,632 per ounce, after falling by $3 during the day, with a premium of $20.
