Cold, dry weather to persist across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Cold and dry weather is expected to persist across Pakistan for the next 24 hours while fog is also forecasted in areas of Punjab and Sindh.

According to the Meteorological Department, Islamabad will experience cold and dry weather, while Murree, Galyat, and surrounding areas will likely face below-freezing temperatures.

Foggy conditions will persist in several areas of Punjab including Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Mangla, Jhelum, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Lahore and Multan.

Hundreds protest power outages in Gilgit-Baltistan

In Sindh, foggy conditions are expected in Sukkur, Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, and Khairpur.

Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, and nearby areas will also have foggy weather.

Gilgit-Baltistan is likely to remain extremely cold and dry, while Azad Kashmir is also expected to experience severe cold and dry weather, the Met Office said.
