Mufti Qavi expresses willingness to marry Rakhi Sawant

WEB DESK: After Pakistani actor Dodi Khan backed out of marrying Rakhi Sawant, Mufti Qavi has stepped in and expressed his willingness to marry the Indian actress.

During a podcast, a female anchor asked Mufti Qavi, Rakhi Sawant has expressed her desire to marry a Pakistani Maulana. Are you willing to marry her?

Mufti Qavi responded affirmatively, stating that he is willing to marry her on one condition—his mother’s approval of the Nikkah.

“My mother has instructed me that whenever I want to get married, I must seek her permission. She has also told me not to disclose the number of my marriages to anyone,” Mufti Qavi said.

The 46-year-old Indian actress Rakhi Sawant recently announced her plans to get married in Pakistan. In an interview with the Times of India, she revealed that she received several marriage proposals during her visit to Pakistan.

Rakhi stated that she had chosen Pakistani actor Dodi Khan, who had proposed to her himself. However, Dodi Khan later refused to marry her.

DODI KHAN’S CLARIFICATION

In a video message, Dodi Khan addressed both Indian and Pakistani audiences, saying that he knows Rakhi Sawant well and is aware of the challenges she has faced in life.

He said, “Rakhi Sawant has endured many hardships in her life. She lost her parents, and a man mistreated her. She overcame these traumas, accepted Islam, performed Umrah, and changed her name to Fatima, which I really admired. That’s why I proposed to her.”

Dodi Khan further explained, “Perhaps my proposal was not acceptable to people. I received countless messages and videos that I could not handle. That’s why I cannot go through with this marriage.”

At the end of his video, he expressed good wishes for Rakhi Sawant, saying, “Rakhi Ji, you are my good friend and will always be. Maybe you won’t be my bride, but I promise you will become a daughter-in-law of Pakistan. I will arrange your marriage with one of my brothers.”
