Petrol, diesel prices cut by Rs2 per litre

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Wednesday announced a reduction of Rs2 per litre in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), effective from May 1, 2025.
According to a press release issued by the Finance Division, the decision was made in line with the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and other relevant ministries.

Following the revision, the price of petrol has been reduced from Rs254.63 to Rs252.63 per litre, while the price of HSD has dropped from Rs258.64 to Rs256.64 per litre.
The new prices will remain in effect for the upcoming fortnight starting May 1.
