WEB DESK: The twelve drones fired within Pakistan airspace by Indian military, crossing various international borders are Israeli-made Harop drones, stated Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry while addressing the media on Thursday. All drones were shot down by the Pakistan military.

According to TRT World, India imported military hardware worth USD2.9 billion from Israel over the last decade, including radars, surveillance and combat drones, and missiles.

Chaudhry revealed that Indian forces violated Pakistan’s airspace last night. “The Indian aggression is a severe breach of international laws,” he said.

Earlier following the Pakistan air force’s downing of five Indian aircraft on Wednesday, the share prices of the countries respective air craft providers rose and plunged. The Rafale fighter jets used by the Indian air force are created by Dassault Aviation, a French company. Three of the five Indian aircrafts shot down were Rafale jets. The company’s share price fell by about 1.7 per cent on the Paris Stock Exchange on Wednesday. The day range was between €327.80 and €322.20.
