Five killed in LoC shelling, Pakistan responds

ISLAMABAD: In a fresh wave of cross-border tensions, Indian forces resorted to unprovoked shelling on civilian areas along the Line of Control (LoC), killing five civilians and injuring seven others, according to security sources.
The shelling along LoC reportedly targeted residential areas in Hajira, Forward Kahuta, and Khoi Ratta sectors. Sources say the Indian military, frustrated after facing setbacks at the LoC, began targeting civilian populations.
In response, Pakistan Army launched a strong retaliatory operation destroying several Indian posts including Doobah Mor, Soji Battalion Headquarters, and Jabbar-Tarkhiyan Complex in the Pir Kanthi sector. All were reportedly destroyed in precise strikes.
Pakistan Army also hit two more Indian positions ,Ring Contour Post in Haji Pir sector and Pokhran Mortar Bughsar Post, causing heavy losses to Indian forces.
Six more Indian drones downed in Punjab districts
In Kellar sector, Indian posts at Maheri and Khalsa Top were also brought down, while Dana Top and Mound Post in Rakhchikri sector faced direct hits.
Military officials say India has suffered significant damage from these operations. The repeated destruction of Indian posts has reportedly caused confusion and panic across the LoC.
