North Korea’s Kim Yo Jong: US military maneuvers fuel regional security turmoil

PYONGYANG: North Korean leader and Kim Jong Un’s sister Kim Yo Jong blamed the United States’ military presence for the “regional security environment” spiraling “into turmoil” in early hours of Wednesday.

The powerful sister of Kim Jong Un said that North Korea will continue to build “overwhelming[ly]” and the strongest military power to protect its sovereignty and regional peace, the North’s KCNA news agency reported on Wednesday.
