Tragic bus accident in Salt Range leaves 11 dead and several injured

RAWALPINDI: A passenger bus en route from Rawalpindi to Jhang, has been involved in an accident on the motorway near Kallar Kahar in the Salt Range.

According to media reports, the tragic incident has resulted in the loss of 11 lives, with several others sustaining injuries.

Immediate measures were taken to transfer the victims to nearby hospital for investigation and identification.

Rescue sources revealed that the accident occurred when the bus, travelling at a high speed, collided with a tree after brakes failure, resulting in the vehicle catching fire.
