Changan Alsvin 2023: A stylish entry into the Pakistani auto market

Changan Alsvin 2023

ISLAMABAD: Master Motors Limited, in partnership with Changan, has officially launched the Changan Alsvin 2023 in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone as Changan’s debut in the Pakistani passenger vehicle market. This sleek sedan is set to redefine the way we think about fashion and mobility.

The Changan Alsvin 2023 boasts a perfect blend of style and practicality, making it ideal for daily use. From its spacious interior to its attractive price structure, the Alsvin is the epitome of modern technology and smart driving. With three available variants – 1.37L Comfort, 1.5L Comfort, and 1.5L Lumiere – and a generous 3-year/100,000-kilometer warranty, Changan is poised to compete with existing sedans and hatchbacks in Pakistan.

The price of the Changan Alsvin 2023 in Pakistan ranges from PKR 4,149,000 for the base 1.3L MT Comfort variant to PKR 4,999,000 for the top-of-the-line 1.5L DCT Lumiere model, all ex-factory.

Step inside, and you’ll find a luxurious interior with faux leather seats in a sophisticated ivory beige color. The Alsvin comfortably accommodates four passengers, and the cockpit exudes elegance and sportiness, complete with a D-shaped steering wheel for enhanced legroom. The super electronic power steering includes audio controls across all variants, with cruise control buttons exclusively in the Lumiere model.

Safety is paramount in the Changan Alsvin, offering dual airbags, rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for added peace of mind. Entertainment options are equally impressive, with four speakers providing a fantastic audio experience. A USB port and a 12V power outlet are available for convenience, and the Alsvin features start/stop technology and keyless entry. The expansive trunk offers both key and electronic access for ease of use.

Under the hood, the 1.37L Alsvin Comfort boasts a 1370cc engine generating 99 Hp with 135 Nm of torque, while the 1.5L Alsvin Comfort and Lumiere models are equipped with a 1480cc engine producing 105 Hp and 145 Nm of torque. All variants feature Euro-5 compliance and Daihatsu Valve Variable Timing (DVVT) with in-line 4-cylinder engines.

In the competitive Pakistani auto market, the Changan Alsvin takes on rivals such as the Toyota Yaris, Honda City, and KIA Picanto. While the Yaris shares a similar price range and features, the Alsvin distinguishes itself with modern amenities like steering switches, climate control, a rear camera, and rear speakers. However, it lacks traction control, a feature found in the Yaris. Additionally, the Yaris enjoys a reputation for superior build quality, enhancing its overall value.

The introduction of the Changan Alsvin 2023 in Pakistan signals a significant development in the country’s automobile industry and sets the stage for an exciting new chapter in the world of mobility and fashion.
