Gallup Survey 2025 shows clear signs of economic progress in Pakistan

WEB DESK: According to the Gallup Survey 2025, business confidence seems to have returned to the market. The responses, as detailed by the survey results, show clear signs of progress in the right direction for Pakistan’s economy.
According to the survey, business confidence has gradually increased and the country’s economy is moving in the right direction. Of the surveyed population for this year’s survey, 55 per cent of Pakistanis are reporting improvement in business.

Overall evaluation of the economy shows that business confidence in Pakistan has increased by 10 per cent in the last six months.
Business expectations regarding the future in Pakistan have increased by 19 per cent, indicating a positive trend, while the perception of the business situation being uncertain in Pakistan has decreased by 7 per cent, the Gallup survey showed.
The finding of the survey also clearly state that, “Business confidence increased by 36 per cent regarding the future, which is a positive sign for the business community.”
Inflation and interest rate reduction in the country are the main factors behind the increase in business confidence, the Gallup survey said, in addition to the Business community reporting a decrease in electricity load shedding while 56 per cent reported no load shedding.

The survey also shows that business confidence in the commercial sector has recovered.
This latest survey is the 14th edition of the quarterly Business Confidence Survey, conducted in more than 30 districts of the country. In this latest survey, 482 small, medium and large businesses were surveyed.
