Gold price falls by Rs500 to Rs283,200 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold price in Pakistan dropped by Rs500 per tola on the second trading day of the week.

The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, which releases gold rates on a regular basis, reported that the price of one tola gold dropped to Rs283,200 on Tuesday, after the latest decline.

It is worth noting that 24 karat gold was priced at Rs283,700 per tola on Monday.

The price of ten gramme of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs429 and ended the day at Rs242,798 as compared to its Monday’s rate of Rs243,227.

In the local market, one gramme gold is now priced at 24,279 as compared to its previous price of Rs24,322.

Moreover, the price of 22 karat ten gramme gold also decreased from Rs222,958 to Rs222,565 after witnessing dropping by Rs393.

Gold prices in the international market also dropped. The per ounce rate on Tuesday was reported at $2,736 per ounce.
