24-karat gold price remains unchanged in Pakistan

KARACHI: On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan remained stable, with 24-karat gold priced at Rs256,500 per tola. This figure reflects a deliberate Rs2,500 reduction from the actual market value.

In the previous week, the price of the yellow metal had decreased by Rs300 per tola. The Karachi Sarafa Association reported that 24-karat gold remained steady at Rs219,907 per 10 grammes, matching the price from the last session.

Meanwhile, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs201,582 per 10 grammes.

Silver prices also held steady in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver priced at Rs2,850 per tola and Rs2,443 per 10 grammes.

On the global stage, spot gold was trading at approximately $2,440 per ounce, marking an increase of $12.60 or 0.52 per cent from the previous session.
