24 karat gold price hits Rs216,500 per tola in Pakistan

WEB DESK: The price of 24 karat gold per tola in Pakistan witnessed a rise of Rs800, reaching Rs216,500 on Saturday, as opposed to its previous value of Rs215,700 per tola during the last trading day.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grammes of 24 karat gold experienced an increase of Rs686, settling at Rs185,614 in contrast to its earlier price of Rs184,928.

The prices for 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also saw an upward trend, reaching Rs170,146 from Rs169,517, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Notably, the rates for one tola and ten grammes of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,550 and Rs2,186.21, respectively.

Meanwhile, on a global scale, the price of gold increased by $9, reaching $2,022 from its previous value of $2013, according to the association’s findings.
