Gold price increase by Rs800 per tola

ISLAMABAD: After a surge in gold prices at the international market, the domestic market also witnessed a rise on Thursday to Rs800 per tola in the yellow metal.

The gold prices recorded an increase of $2 per ounce in the international market which tossed the value of the yellowish metal to $2050.

On the other hand, impacts of the increase in gold prices are also seen in domestic markets where prices of per tola and 10 grams rose to Rs800 and Rs685, respectively.

Sarafa markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Quetta are also witnessing a soar in gold rates where per tola gold is being sold at Rs218,900, while the price of 10grams reached Rs187,671.
