Gold price per tola decreases Rs 600 in Pakistan


Gold price decline in Pakistan

KARACHI: After three consecutive days of gains, gold prices in Pakistan saw a decrease on Monday, mirroring a drop in international market rates. In the domestic market, the price of gold fell by Rs 600 per tola, settling at Rs 271,900.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs 471, bringing it to Rs 233,110, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Government looks to digital solutions to boost tax collection

This drop follows a Rs 500 increase in gold prices on Saturday, when they had reached Rs 272,500 per tola, marking a record high.

On the international front, gold experienced a downturn on Monday. According to the APGJSA, the global rate dropped by $5, bringing it to $2,617 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Silver prices, however, remained stable in Pakistan at Rs 2,950 per tola.
