Gold price soars again

KARACHI: The price of gold in the local market soared by Rs1,300 per tola on August 4, according to All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA). After the increase, the price of gold per tola reached 221,500.

With this rise, the price of 10 grams of gold stands at Rs189,901 witnessing an increase of Rs1,115.

The global price of gold per ounce reached $1932 with a decrease of $4.

The increase comes a day after a decline of Rs2,800 per tola in the price of gold.
