Gold price surges by Rs1100/tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold rate in Pakistan have once again increased making it difficult for the consumers to buy this precious commodity.

The price of gold recorded an increase of Rs1100 on Monday and now stands at Rs214,300 per tola in Pakistan, compared with the previous rate of Rs213,200/tola.

The price of 10 grams of gold also showed a hike of Rs943 to settle at Rs183,728 in the local market as against the earlier price of Rs182,099.

In the international market, gold prices rose to a near one-week high on Monday as a slight pullback in the US dollar and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
