Gold prices dip by Rs 1200

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a notable decrease, dropping by Rs 1200, bringing it down to Rs 212,100.

For those interested in 22-karat gold, it was available at a price of Rs 196,167 per tola.

Even for those looking to purchase smaller quantities, the prices remained attractive, with 10 grams of 24-karat gold priced at Rs 181,842.

Rupee sees minor fall against US dollar

This adjustment in gold prices can be attributed to a significant surge in the value of the US dollar, underlining the intricate relationship between currency values and gold prices, as reported primarily from Karachi and Multan.

On the global stage, gold prices have been on a downward trajectory, currently standing at $2,002 per ounce.
