Gold prices drop sharply across Pakistan

KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on Saturday by Rs 4700 per tola after a rising trend was witnessed in the past few days.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, gold prices in the country have seen a significant decline of Rs. 4,700 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs. 301,500 per tola.

Massive decrease in petroleum prices expected

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has dropped by Rs. 4,030, now standing at Rs. 258,487.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices have fallen by $50 per ounce, reaching $2,883 per ounce.
