Gold rates surge again by Rs 400 per tola

ISLAMABAD: After the price increase in the global market, the price of gold in Pakistan also increased by hundreds of rupees.

The 24-karat gold rate in Pakistan observed a massive hike of Rs400 reaching Rs217,200 per tola on Monday in comparison to Friday’s closing of Rs216,800, according to All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association.

The 10 grams of 24-karat gold is priced at Rs186,214, while the same quantity of 22-karat gold is available at Rs170,696.

It should be noted that two days ago, a decrease of 1800 rupees was recorded in the price of gold per tola in the local market.

Stock market plunges 500 points on Monday

The international price of per ounce gold gained $3 and reached 2043 dollars per ounce.

It is important to note that gold rates in Pakistan can undergo significant variations throughout the day, influenced by trends in the global market.
