Hajj package 2024 Pakistan

WEB DESK: In 2024, the Hajj pilgrimage is expected to cost Rs1.1 million per person as per the Pakistani government’s scheme.

Recent reports indicate that this amount will be gathered, and individual families will receive separate accommodations for Hajj pilgrims.

The exact cost will be revealed in the forthcoming Hajj Policy 2024, which has been submitted to the federal cabinet and is awaiting approval.

Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Aneeq Ahmed, mentioned earlier that the Saudi Arabian government will enhance facilities and services for Pakistani pilgrims during Hajj 2024.

These improvements will encompass better accommodation, meals, and transportation, ensuring a more comfortable and convenient experience for the pilgrims.

Pakistan’s Hajj 2024 quota stands at 179,201, with 50 per cent reserved under the government and the remaining 50 per cent under a private scheme, as per insider sources from the Religious Ministry.

Moreover, for the first time, Pakistanis will have the opportunity to perform Hajj for up to 25 days.

Furthermore, it is anticipated that the Pakistani government will continue the sponsorship scheme for Hajj 2024 to alleviate the challenges associated with obtaining dollars for the pilgrimage expenses.

According to ARY News, under this sponsorship scheme, the Hajj costs will be collected in terms of Pakistani currency, and a valid Pakistani passport is a prerequisite to avail this benefit.

Reports suggest that approximately 10,000 individuals can participate in Hajj 2024 under this sponsorship scheme, and these participants will be exempt from the balloting process.
