ISLAMABAD: Atlas Honda, the renowned manufacturer of Honda motorcycles in Pakistan, has introduced a new colour for its highly popular Honda CG125.
The fresh blue variant is expected to attract a specific group of customers who may have grown tired of the standard red and black options traditionally available for the CG125 2025.
It is noteworthy that the company has launched this new colour almost ten years after its last similar introduction. Back in 2013, Atlas Honda introduced a purple variant, which gained significant popularity, driving up demand in 2014.
However, the colour was discontinued shortly after. While many welcomed the purple colour, some criticised it, considering it unappealing or, as some described, “cringe-worthy.”
Unlike the purple variant, this new blue colour appears to be more aligned with the colour palette Honda introduced for its CD70 model. For those unfamiliar, red remains the dominant colour in motorcycle sales in Pakistan, with black models being less popular in comparison.
Only time will tell if this new blue colour for the Honda CG125 will boost its sales or if customers will continue to prefer the classic red and black options.
Atlas Honda has already updated its website to proudly display the new blue CG125 on the homepage. The announcement was also made on the company’s official Facebook page, where the post read:
“Ignite the Ride – The New CG125 in Blue: Atlas Honda’s Gift to You!
Start 2025 with a spark! Introducing the all-new CG125 in striking blue – a powerful gift from Atlas Honda to our incredible riders!
With its bold design, unmatched performance, and cutting-edge technology, the CG125 is built to ignite your passion for riding. Whether you’re conquering city streets or exploring new roads, this bike is your perfect companion for the journey ahead.
Remember, while you embrace the thrill, always put safety first. Ride smart, ride safe!”
While the Facebook post highlighted the design of the new CG125, it’s important to note that the overall design has remained largely unchanged since the bike’s initial launch in Pakistan.
Despite this, Pakistanis continue to love the CG125 for its distinctive engine sound, which “125 lovers” find thrilling, and for its well-known performance and reliability.
On a positive note, Atlas Honda has maintained the price of the CG125 2025 at Rs234,900, regardless of the colour chosen—whether blue, black, or red. That’s definitely a win for customers!
