Honda Grace price in Pakistan and is it worth buying in 2025?

ISLAMABAD: The Honda Grace is a hybrid sedan that had the potential to become a strong contender in Pakistan’s growing market for fuel-efficient Japanese imports.  

Brought in by car dealers and showrooms between 2015 and 2020, the Grace was never officially introduced by Honda Atlas, unlike the more familiar Honda Civic, BR-V or City. This unofficial status played a role in keeping the car relatively low-profile, despite being packed with modern features.

The 2015 to 2020 versions of the Grace feature a modern and sharp look, with sleek headlights, a bold grille, and a well-proportioned body.  

To the untrained eye, it might be hard to spot the difference between the Grace and the City. However, some subtle design tweaks such as chrome accents, alloy wheels and in some variants, LED tail lights give the Grace a slightly more refined appearance. It is a smart looking car with enough style to turn heads without being flashy.

Inside the cabin, the Grace offers a surprisingly premium feel for a compact sedan. There is good space in both rows with enough leg room and head room to keep passengers comfortable on longer journeys. The seats are supportive and the layout of the dashboard is clean and easy to use.  

Higher-end variants come with plenty of features, such as push-start ignition, digital climate control, rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, and touchscreen infotainment systems. The boot is fairly spacious too, even with the hybrid battery tucked away.  

Most of the Grace units available in Pakistan are in good condition, thanks to the high standards followed in the Japanese domestic market. Many of them also come loaded with advanced safety features like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation, especially in the upper-grade trims.

The Honda Grace runs on a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine paired with Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system. This setup offers a pleasant driving experience, with smooth acceleration, decent power, and excellent fuel economy.

Another issue was pricing. But there is some good news: since the Grace shares many components with the Honda City and Fit Hybrid, parts do exist in the market, and experienced mechanics in bigger cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad usually know how to handle them. 

Routine maintenance is not overly expensive, but specialised components like the hybrid battery or electronic sensors can be costly and may require a bit of searching. Still, many Grace owners say the savings on fuel offset the occasional high cost of repairs.
