ISLAMABAD: In a highly anticipated release, the 6th Generation Hyundai Elantra has made its debut in the Pakistani market, captivating automotive enthusiasts with its elegant design and an array of luxurious features. The spotlight, however, shines on its price, which is turning heads in the industry.
The Hyundai Elantra 6th Generation enters the Pakistani market with a starting price of PKR 6,599,000 for the base variant GL, making it an attractive option for car buyers seeking a blend of style and value. The top-of-the-line GLS variant is priced at PKR 7,130,000, offering an even more premium experience.
This sleek sedan boasts a sophisticated exterior design, featuring a dominant front grille and dynamic LED quad projector headlamps, complemented by LED daytime running lights. The rear of the car showcases sporty LED tail lamps and a two-toned rear bumper, enhancing its overall sporty aesthetic. A smart electric sunroof graces the coupe-like roofline, while LED-lined side mirrors and a shark fin antenna add to its charm.
Step inside, and you’ll find a luxurious interior with leather-wrapped seats. The front seats are power-adjustable and offer adjustable headrests, lumbar support, and footrests for a comfortable driving experience. The rear seats feature adjustable headrests, an armrest with cupholders, and a convenient 60/40 split for increased storage capacity. The supervision TFT LCD instrument display provides vital information, and the leather-wrapped power steering offers tilt and telescopic adjustments, along with convenient steering switches for audio, voice commands, and the Multi Information Display (MID).

The Elantra’s center fascia houses a 7-inch LCD screen that supports radio, MP3, and Bluetooth connectivity, while a rear camera enhances parking and maneuvering. A 6-speaker audio system delivers a premium sound experience. The Elantra GLS comes equipped with a dual-zone air conditioner, ensuring comfort for all passengers, and features climate control.
Safety features are abundant, including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist. The car offers a push-button start/stop feature, automatic central door locking, speed-sensing door locks, and manual child safety locks. Keyless entry is facilitated through a smart key, further enhancing security with an immobilizer.
The Hyundai Elantra 6th Generation faces stiff competition from two of Pakistan’s favorite sedans: the Toyota Corolla and the Honda Civic. Both cars fall within a similar price range but offer distinct advantages.
The Honda Civic, with its well-established and loyal consumer base, provides competition for the Elantra. However, the Elantra distinguishes itself by offering a more luxurious experience, power seats, and a sunroof, which are not available in the Civic.
The Toyota Corolla, also a popular choice in Pakistan, presents a strong challenge to the Hyundai Elantra. Similar to the Civic, the Corolla lacks a sunroof and power seats, failing to match the level of luxury and comfort offered by the Elantra.
The launch of the 6th Generation Hyundai Elantra in Pakistan has generated excitement in the automotive market, thanks in part to its competitive pricing. With its striking design, luxurious features, and a price range that caters to a wide audience, the Elantra is poised to make a significant impact in Pakistan’s sedan segment.
