24-karat gold price increases by Rs1,300 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday. The price of 24-karat gold reached Rs261,700 per tola, which is Rs1,300 more than before.

The Karachi Sarafa Association also said that the price of 24-karat gold for 10 grammes went up to Rs224,365, an increase of Rs1,114.

Similarly, 22-karat gold became more expensive, with the price for 10 grammes rising to Rs205,668.

Silver prices also surged, with 24-karat silver selling for Rs2,900 per tola (an increase of Rs50) and Rs2,486 per 10 grammes (up by Rs43).

Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of spot gold was near $2,506 an ounce, which is $0.5 or 0.02 per cent lower than the previous session.
