ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase of Rs2.8 per kilogramme (kg) in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for November 2024.
The consumer LPG rate increased to Rs254.19 per kg, compared to its rate of Rs251.39 per kg in the previous month (October).
Similarly, the producer LPG price has been hiked by the same margin to Rs212.89 per kg for the ongoing month.
The consumer price for an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder has been revised to Rs2,999.47, representing a rise of Rs34.09 per cylinder from the previous price of Rs2,965.38.

Moreover, the producer LPG price was increased by OGRA to Rs2,512.10 for November.
This increase follows a hike in the prices of petroleum products in the latest fortnightly review, where the price of petrol was increased by Rs1.35 per litre and diesel’s rate was raised by Rs3.85 per litre, despite experts predicting a cut in POL prices.
It is worth noting that these are what LPG sellers call “plant rates,” and the majority of shop owners do not sell LPG at official OGRA rates.
As of today, the 15 kg cylinder is being sold for as high as Rs4,800 in Islamabad. The 11.8 kg is also available at a higher price of Rs3,600.
