Interior Minister pledges to eradicate terrorism and promote lasting peace

WEB DESK: Today, a significant National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) meeting, presided over by Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti, addressed crucial matters pertaining to national security.
The distinguished attendees included the Secretary, Home National Coordinator, NACTA, Inspector Generals (IGs), and Chief Secretaries.
The meeting primarily focused on the thorough review of the implementation of the National Action Plan, featuring comprehensive briefings by all IGs.
Expressing satisfaction with the progress of the National Action Plan’s implementation, the Interior Minister emphasised the need to completely eradicate terrorists to establish lasting peace in the country.
The Minister asserted, Effective action will be taken against terrorist and extremist parties to ensure the safety of our citizens.
Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti underscored the commitment to providing full protection to investors and businessmen, acknowledging the sacrifices made by officers of the police, army, and law enforcement agencies, as well as the youth.
He stated, “Thanks to their sacrifices, this country will experience peace, and prosperity will thrive.”
Bugti affirmed, We will not let these sacrifices go to waste, emphasising the ongoing strict action against smugglers.

He further highlighted measures to curb drug trafficking and sales, stating, Action will be taken against drug dealers to discourage the use of drugs among the youth.
In the realm of cybersecurity, the Interior Minister warned against the spread of hateful content through social media.
He disclosed plans to implement new laws effectively, adding that strict measures are being taken to stop the financial support of terrorists and that transparency is being introduced in financial transactions.
The Interior Minister emphasised a complete ban on donating to banned organisations and individuals, urging people to channel their charity only through approved organisations.
Furthermore, he announced the reinforcement of anti-terrorism agencies across all provinces, providing resources and training in Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing developmental concerns, the Interior Minister pledged to initiate projects in the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He assured protection for industrialists and workers, signalling a comprehensive approach to ensuring the nation’s security and prosperity.
