NADRA upgrades visa processing: Pakistan Online Visa System introduced for foreign citizens

WEB DESK: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is facilitating foreign citizens with efficient services for processing visa applications through its ‘Pakistan Online Visa System.’

Individuals can conveniently handle their documents from the comfort of their homes using the official NADRA website or smartphone apps, available for both iOS and Android devices.

The Pakistan Online Visa System is now accessible to citizens from 192 countries.

Additionally, citizens from 64 countries are eligible to apply for a visa under the Tourist Category, while those from 103 countries can apply for a visa under the Business Category directly in their inbox.

For individuals applying for Pakistan’s Business Visa under various categories, obtaining the Business Visa Invitation Letter (a required document in the visa application) is now possible through Pakistan’s “E-Business Invitation Letter System.”

It is essential to note that the issuance of visas is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan, exercised through designated authorities. NADRA advises applicants to plan their travel only after receiving a valid visa.
