Petrol price unchanged, diesel price reduced by Rs7 in Pakistan

WEB DESK: The government has announced that the price of petrol in Pakistan will remain unchanged at Rs281.34 per litre. Additionally, there is a reduction of Rs7 in the high-speed diesel price, bringing it down to Rs289.71.

Here’s the official notification released by the Ministry of Finance:

The government has recently implemented price reductions for kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs3.82 per litre and Rs4.52 per litre, respectively.

As a result, the new price for SKO is Rs201.16, down from its previous value.

Similarly, the revised price for LDO is now Rs175.93, as opposed to the earlier rate of Rs180.45 per litre.

Earlier this month, the government had also decreased the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs2.04 and Rs6.47, respectively, as part of the fortnightly revision.
