KARACHI: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has slightly cut prices of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for June 2025, driven by a minor drop in terminal handling costs.
According to a notification issued by the regulator, RLNG rates for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd. (SNGPL) have been set at US$11.0154 per MMBtu for transmission and US$11.7816 for distribution. For Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd. (SSGCL), the rates are US$9.7284 and US$10.8650 per MMBtu, respectively.
The new prices reflect a minimal decrease from May levels. SNGPL’s RLNG price dropped by US$0.0103 for transmission and US$0.0109 for distribution.
For SSGCL, the reduction stood at US$0.0083 and US$0.0092. On a percentage basis, the cuts range between 0.08 per cent and 0.09 per cent.
OGRA said the revision was made in line with federal guidelines and attributed the modest adjustment to a decline in terminal charges.
