ISLAMABAD: Pak Suzuki has officially announced the end of the road for famous “Carry Dabba” Suzuki Bolan in Pakistan.
It’s been a couple of years since the reports started emerging that it would be discontinued, but now it is official as there will be no new Bolan on the roads.
The Suzuki Bolan has served as a multi-passenger vehicle and has been widely used for commercial purposes.

The news started circulating on social media after a photo of the incomplete this vehicle emerged showing a poster reading: “Bye Bye Y88V Bolan,” End of Production and Last Chassis Number 01151691.” A company official confirmed the news to PakWheels.com stating: “Yes, it was the last batch.”
However, its outdated design and lack of safety features have led to declining sales, making it ripe for replacement.
SUZUKI EVERY TO REPLACE CARRY DABBA
Suzuki has announced that the Carry Dabba will be replaced by the Suzuki Every, a more modern and feature-rich minivan.
Suzuki Every is probably one of the most successful Kei-microvans from Japan. “Every1” badge dates back to 1961 and was initially sold as Suzuki Carry. It is the modern day sibling to our beloved Suzuki Bolan2, which too like the Mehran is being sold for ages now.
The Suzuki Every was unveiled at a recent auto show, and its launch is expected to take place in mid-October, pending import challenges.
