PDWP greenlights 16 projects worth nearly Rs73 billion

LAHORE: In a significant stride towards advancing development initiatives, the Provincial Development Working Party, Punjab (PDWP), convened its 48th session of the ongoing fiscal year.

Presided over by Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, Chairman of the P&D Board, the meeting held in Lahore witnessed the approval of 16 crucial projects, collectively amounting to an estimated investment of Rs72.997 billion.

Among the noteworthy schemes endorsed during the session were endeavors such as the channelisation of Jabba Nullah in Tehsil & District Mianwali, concrete lining of Maggi Magassom Link, and the rehabilitation of various road networks across the province.

These initiatives, ranging from infrastructure enhancements to healthcare facility upgrades, aim to address critical needs and facilitate socio-economic growth across different sectors.

Dr Asif Tufail, Secretary of the P&D Board, along with esteemed board members, heads of departments, and senior representatives from relevant provincial bodies, were present at the meeting.
