WEB DESK: Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, has encouraged oil companies to establish at least two to three fuel stations in each district of Balochistan. This, he said, would help boost business activities and create more jobs.
He made these remarks during a meeting with the Oil Marketing Association of Pakistan.
According to Jam Kamal, such steps would contribute to the province’s economic growth. During the meeting, he also contacted Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, to seek his support for the initiative.
The Oil Marketing Association of Pakistan, led by Senior Vice Chairman Tariq Mehmood, met with Jam Kamal to discuss ways to expand the fuel oil industry in Balochistan. They talked about the importance of having more licensed fuel stations across the province to improve services and offer better products to the local people.
Tariq Mehmood highlighted the need for a slow but steady introduction of licensed fuel stations. He said this would ensure high-quality fuel for the region and enhance the consumer experience. He also asked for more support to help people through these regulated stations.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti liked the idea and promised full support from the provincial government. According to Mettis Global, Jam Kamal also reassured the Oil Marketing Association of the federal government’s backing.
Jam Kamal pointed out that having licensed fuel stations would benefit both customers and station owners by ensuring quality control and creating a competitive business environment. He said, “Moving towards licensed stations is a win-win for everyone because it guarantees high-quality products for customers while boosting business opportunities.”
The Federal Minister promised his support for any plans that aim to increase business activities and contribute to the country’s economic development. He expressed hope that the fuel oil industry in Balochistan would play a key role in driving the province’s growth.
