KSE-100 edges down by 3 points, ending in the red

Today (Wednesday), the benchmark KSE-100 index opens at yesterday’s closing amid cautious sentiment, fueled by political uncertainty. However, economic stability indicators are likely to offer much-needed investor confidence to the market.

Yesterday, the Oil & Gas Exploration, Fertilizers, Cement, and Textile sectors created downward pressures on the market, countered by the financial and security sectors’ growth.
